Tally

The gym game that rewards showing up, and ranks you against people your size.

Members book classes, tap in with a card in their phone's wallet, keep weekly streaks and climb plate-colour ranks within their gender and weight class. Owners post classes and see money, footfall and who is drifting away.

Demo by Josh Terblanche. Saltworks Barbell Club, its members, classes, money and rival gyms are made up. Try this: log a lift over 140 kg in Progress, then verify it in the owner dashboard under League.

    How rank points work

    • Consistency, about 60%. 10 per session, 25 for hitting your weekly goal, 50 for every 4 weeks in a row.
    • Strength, about 30%. Your squat, bench and deadlift total divided by body weight, scored only against people in your weight class.
    • Personal bests, about 10%. 40 each time you beat your own best, verified by a coach.

    Weight classes. Women: 57, 63, 72, 84 and 84+ kg. Men: 66, 74, 83, 93, 105 and 105+ kg. A coach does a weigh-in once a month. Anyone can pick Open instead, which ranks on consistency only.

Hold your phone near the reader at the gate. No plastic card to carry or lose.
Your card appears on your lock screen when you arrive at the gym.
Lost your phone? The gym switches the card off in one tap and sends a new one.
Day-pass visitors get a card that stops working at midnight.

Every tap counts as a check-in for your streak and points, so you never have to remember to log a session.
